Peer Review Process

Every article submitted to Ilmu Gizi Indonesia will receive a peer-review in a blind review by reviewers in accordance with their field of knowledge. The review period for each manuscript ranges from three to four weeks. The reviewers then make a decision regarding the eligibility of the manuscript. The results of the reviewer's decision have several possibilities, namely: rejected, major revision, minor revision, or accepted. Furthermore, the decision to accept or not the manuscript will be made at the editorial board meeting forum. Then, the decision is given to the author. Manuscripts with accepted and revised status will enter the next process until finally the manuscript is published.

Publication Frequency

Ilmu Gizi Indonesia is published twice a year, namely in August and February. The first issue starts from Vol.1 No. 1, namely August 2017. Each issue contains six until nine manuscripts so that in one year Indonesian Nutrition Sciences will publish 12 until 18 manuscripts.

Open Access Policy

Journal History

Ilmu Gizi Indonesia has been published since August 2017 with a publication frequency of twice a year, namely in August and February. This journal uses an online scientific journal management platform (Open Journal System). Starting from Volume 8 Number 1, Ilmu Gizi Indonesia has submitted a request for changes to publication time data to the Director of the National Center for ISSN Indonesia with letter number 058/LPPM/CT/VIII/2024. Initially, the Ilmu Gizi Indonesia publications were in August and February. Referring to the letter requesting these changes, starting from Volume 8 Number 1, Ilmu Gizi Indonesia was published in October and April.

Ilmu Gizi Indonesia is indexed at SINTA, Google scholar, Garuda, Crossref,  ISJD, PKP-Index, BASE, OneSearch, Copernicus, and Dimensions.

Ilmu Gizi Indonesia has ISSN  2580-491X (Print Media). Since August 2017, Ilmu Gizi Indonesia has been available online with ISSN  2598-7844 (Online Media).

Ilmu Gizi Indonesia is one of the media that can be used as a means for researchers to publish the results of studies.

Submission of articles to Ilmu Gizi Indonesia is done through an online system.
