Pengaruh latihan dan konseling gizi terhadap perubahan status gizi dewasa obesitas

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Masalah gizi lebih pada orang dewasa mengalami kenaikan, salah satu cara mengatasinya adalah dengan latihan dan pengaturan pola makan. Pemberian latihan dan konseling gizi yang baik dapat memperbaiki status gizi. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian latihan dan konseling gizi terhadap perubahan status gizi usia dewasa. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan metode the one group pre-post test design. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan dengan subjek sebanyak 27 orang obesitas (IMT 33,6±9 kg/m2 ). Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi pengukuran antropometri, wawancara dan food record 2x24 jam. Data status gizi yang diambil meliputi berat badan, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), percent body fat (PBF), massa otot dan visceral fat. Pemberian program latihan (moderate dan high intensity) sebanyak tiga kali seminggu dan pemberian konseling gizi sebanyak satu kali per minggu selama 12 minggu. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pemberian latihan dan konseling gizi untuk memperbaiki status gizi, yaitu penurunan berat badan, IMT, percent body fat (PBF), dan visceral fat (-2,8±4,5 kg; -1,0±1,6 kg/m2 ; -1,5±3,2%; -0,5±0,9) (p<0,05). Namun, tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap perbaikan asupan zat gizi makro (protein, lemak dan karbohidrat) (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Pemberian kombinasi latihan dan konseling gizi selama 12 minggu efektif dalam memperbaiki status gizi.
